Haulers Insurance was established in 1986 as a regional property and casualty insurance company, offering a broad array of personal and commercial automobile products and services. Over the past 24 years, our operations have spread beyond Tennessee to include Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, and Virginia.

Our commitment is to exceed the expectations our customers and independent insurance agents by providing a high standard of excellence and mutual trust. Haulers’ motto, “Service Second to None”, has been our goal since inception.

Professionally owned and operated independent insurance agencies provide our insurance products to customers with exceptional service and advice. Approximately 500 independent agencies represent Haulers Insurance Company, Inc. today. In 2008, Haulers Insurance Company became part of the Shelter Insurance group of companies, one of the nation’s leaders in providing sound insurance and financial products and services since 1946, currently writing over $1.1 billion in premium and backed up by over $1.25 billion in policyholder surplus.
